Bracknell 5- Bristol 2

Yesterday, July 7th, 2024, the Bracknell Inferno hosted the Bristol Badgers in what was supposed to be a triple header. However, due to weather conditions, only one game was played, and the other two were canceled. The Inferno emerged victorious with a 5-2 win over the Badgers. The victory was attributed to excellent pitching from Naranjo and a stellar defense that executed double plays and pick-offs effectively. Additionally, the Inferno’s bats were lively, and their base running was executed to perfection.

Looking ahead, the Inferno will travel to Cardiff to face the Merlins AAA at Pontcanna Field this coming Sunday. This fixture is highly anticipated as the Merlins are the only team to have secured two wins against the Inferno this season. The Bracknell Inferno, with a current record of 10-3, hold a +2.5 game lead over the Badgers, a +4 lead over the Merlins, and a +7.5 lead over the New Forest Thunder. The team and their fans are eager to extend their advantage in the league with a strong performance against the Merlins.
